Clocks in the UK are set to move forward by one hour soon. This will result in trains being an hour late and some workers to work an extra hour. Scientists say this change will not lead to substantial power savings, dispelling the belief that it does. The change will occur during the transition between the third and second nights, and summer time will be implemented permanently, eliminating the requirement for further changes.
