Michael Taaffe received his first NFL start. He walked off with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety picked off Kirk Cousins on the opening drive of the half. Taaffe was used at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was left out of the starting group. The interception came on the opening drive of the half. It gave Miami possession for the opening series of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third touchdown pass. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway was the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
