Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will shut their doors after administrators failed to attract buyers for the sites. Seven of the centres facing closure are in Queensland. The closures follow the provider's financial collapse, which has left families urgently searching for alternative care arrangements.
Administrators managed to sell some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 received no bids. Parents have been given little time to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown goes forward.
